Application for grant of recognition for additional intake in B.Ed.

I.P. College, established in 1970, is a multi- faculty, post-graduate, co-educational, grant-in –aid, premier institute of western U.P., situated at district HQ. Bulandshahr. Courses namely M.Sc. (Botany), M.Sc. (Zoology), M.Sc. (Chemistry), B.Sc. (Bio-Group), M.Com. , B.Com. are grant-in-aid courses for which funding is received from Government of UP through Director Of Higher Education (UP), Allahabad on 100% net deficit basis. In view of government policy, courses started after 1997, like B.Ed., M.Sc (Biotechnology), B.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Computer Science), BCA; are running under self-financing scheme.

Since college is recognized by UGC (New Delhi)  under sections 2(f) and 12(b),  plan and non-plan grants for building  and other purposes are being received regularly as per norms. Admission to various courses are done on the basis of the merit index as per the admission guidelines given by the University or through entrance test conducted by the college/ University.

Curricular and Co- Curricular activities like NCC, NSS, Rovers -Rangers, Cultural Programs, Debating, Quiz, Seminars and Sports and Games are the integral part of emphasis for the personality development of the students. Performance of students in academics every year is visible in the university merit list for all subjects. Besides this, college administration takes care to interact with parents regularly for performance appraisal of students. Co-operation of Ex-Students, NGO’s, Freedom Fighters, has also been received for all-round growth and development of the college.

College is developing second Campus (New Campus) at NH - 91  at 5 km from city centre on Bulandshahr-Delhi high way for which about 40 bighas of land has already been purchased in the name of the college. Proposal for starting M.Ed. Course is submitted to NCTE, Jaipur after obtaining no objection and approval of UP Government.

To cope up with the demand of teaching and learning, various distance education programs of academic and professional nature are also being conducted by the Study Centres of IGNOU, New Delhi, and UP Rajshi Tondon Open University, Allahabad situated in college campus.
